Michael Franklin Clayton of Selmer, TN departed this life on August 14, 2019 in his home at the age of 67 Years, 8 Months, 22 Days. He was born on November 23, 1951 in Jackson, TN the son of the late Cecil and Robbie Redmon Clayton. He was united in marriage to Teresa on December 29, 2015.

Mike was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. He farmed prior to owning and operating his own trucking company.
He is survived by his wife Teresa M. Clayton; a son, Clint Clayton; a daughter, Mandy Clayton; a stepdaughter, Kayce Howard; a stepson, Damien Nethery; a sister, Carolyn Thomas; a brother, Wayne Clayton; 11 Grandchildren, a special aunt, Peggy Clayton, along with a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Lofton.
Mike and Teresa had very special nurses to care for them. They are hospice nurses Rebecca and Lydia and Jackson General Rehab nurses Gaye, Nicole, Donna, and Susan.
