Michelle Gooch Johns, age 49, passed away June 30, 2017. Visitation will be today, July 2, 2017, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Center Star Cemetery.
She was a 1986 graduate of Brooks High School
Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Johnson; grandparents, Toad and Inez Johnson; and sister, Marsha Lansdell.
She is survived by her sons, Jacob, Zack, and Chase Johns; grandchildren, Drayden Smith and Brinlee Johns; and brothers, Mike, Mark, and Marty Gooch.
She fought a good fight for a long time. She stayed positive when most, if not all, would have given up or had a bad attitude. Michelle had a hard life as a single mother to three boys without any help. She is now free from her pain and suffering and is at peace.
