Michael Wayne ‘Rooster” Mann, 63 of Arab, Alabama passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
Michael was born November 16, 1952 in Cullman County, Alabama to William Dwain Mann and Sarah Frances McCravey Mann. He was a 1971 graduate of Arab High School and worked 30 years for Arab Water Works and retired as a Treatment Plant Operator. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, Alabama Football, Playing Pool, Fishing and he loved to tinker with equipment and could repair most anything.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years: Janice Cook Mann; his mother: Sarah Mann; three daughters and sons-in-law: Crystal Anderson, Trina and George Waites, Lee Anne and Ed Jernigan; one son and daughter-in-law: Patrick and Summer Sularin; ten grandchildren: Dylan, Katie, Taylor, Anna, Sarah Beth, Will, Julianna, Wesley, Joe and Collin; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Brenda and Jim Gray, Shelia and Jim Timmerman. He was preceded in death by his father: William Dwain Mann and his son Shane Mann.
The family elected cremation. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisted the family with the arrangements.
