Born August 21, 1971, to the late Ben “Norman” Dulaney and Norma Jean Thomas, Michael was a 1989 graduate of Ripley High School and worked at Toyota in Blue Springs, Mississippi, for fifteen years.
Michael enjoyed working on cars and audio systems, watching Mississippi State University football, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was a devoted Christian man; his faith and family were very important to him.
He is survived by his wife, Ethelda Jean Dulaney of New Albany, one son, Johnathan Dulaney (Ericka) of Pontotoc, one daughter, Michaela Saxton (Aaron) of New Albany, one brother, Wayne Dulaney (Renee) of New Albany, two sisters, Lori Carter (Billy) of Walnut, and Lynn Alberson (Billy), of Ashland, seven grandchildren, Benjamin Dulaney, Paisley Dulaney, Rylee Dulaney, Bentley Saxton, Heidi Saxton, Hannah Saxton and Charlie Saxton, three stepsons, Arron Camper (Emily), Cody Camper and Mitchell Holloway, a host of cousins, nieces and nephews, and four friends he consider as his brothers, Danuel Crossen, Jerry Fowlkes, Jason Bishop and Dustin Rasberry.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Norman Dulaney and Norma Jean Thomas Newcomb.
Michael was a light to all that knew him. His shop door was always open to anyone who needed him, whether it was mechanical help, someone to talk to, or just to laugh. Michael was there and he will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Arron Camper, Danuel Crossen, Johnathan Dulaney, Jerry Fowlkes, Dustin Rasberry, Aaron Saxton, Jason Thomas and David Yates.
Honorary pallbearers will be Benjamin Dulaney, Bentley Saxton, and Charlie Saxton.
