Michael “Mike” James Fuller, 51, of Trinity, passed from this physical world on Oct. 30, 2016, surrounded by the family he loved, in the home he built. He was born in Decatur on Jan. 22, 1965, the oldest son of Gerald and Doris Fuller.

He graduated from Decatur High School in 1983 and is an alumnus of Wallace State Community College. He spent the past 21 years working at 3M of Decatur.

He married the love of his life, Doris Dawson Fuller in 1989. Together they built a wonderful life and precious family with son, Brex and daughter, Maleah. Mike, the husband, the father, and the Christian, held nothing higher than his God and his family. His love for both showed in everything he did. He was a member of the Austinville Church of Christ where he served as an Elder.

The love and support he gave to the lives he touched are equaled only by the loss those who know him feel. But, while that loss is real and the grief deep, those he left behind grieve not as those with no hope because the life he lived was lived in Christ and he is home.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Morgan Fuller; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Fuller and Mr. and Mrs. J.O. Morgan.

He is survived by his wife, Doris; son, Brex and wife, Hannah Fuller of Trinity; daughter, Maleah Fuller of Trinity; father, Gerald and Carlyon Fuller of Lebanon, Tennessee; brothers, Richard and Judith Fuller of Mississippi and Jeff and Rachel Fuller of Florida; sister, Kristi Fuller of Decatur; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held today, Nov. 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Austinville Church of Christ. Mark Posey, Minister, Austinville Church of Christ Church will be officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.

Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Joe Lee Griffin Hope Lodge-Birmingham Alabama in memory of Michael Fuller.

Roselawn Funeral Home is directing.
