Mr. Michael “Mike” Hanners of Hartselle passed away, on Friday, May 23, 2025 at his residence at the age of 68. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Johnson Chapel Cemetery in Danville, AL. Pastor Joel Coots will be officiating and Peck Funeral Home Directing.
Mike was born to Thomas Hanners and Murl Warren on June 29, 1956 in Michigan.
Mike was a devoted husband of 51 years, father, and grandfather whose love for his family knew no bounds. A hardworking and dedicated man, he found great joy in music and took every opportunity to use his voice in service to the Lord. He is proceeded in death by his mother and father, Murl Warren and Tom Hanners. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Debbie Hanners; one son, Kristopher “Kris” Hanners and wife, Allison Hanners; one daughter, Dena Hanners Free, and husband, Chris Free; two brothers, Tom Hanners and Marty Warren; four grandchildren, Savanah Free, Lila Hanners, Ava Ralph and Ridge Hanners.
Pallbearers will be Travis Sumerel, Austin Wilhite, Chris Free, Norvie Womack and Brian Fowler.
