Michael ‘Mike’ Edward McKee was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on January 21, 1959. He resided most of his life in Huntsville, Alabama and departed this life at Huntsville Hospital on June 4, 2017 at age 58. Mike played football for Huntsville High and attended the University of Alabama. He will be remembered for his love for God, family, friends, and Alabama football. Mr. McKee was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Nell McKee; mother-in-law, Fran Morrison; and father-in-law, Edward Morrison.
Survivors include his wife, Pam McKee; children, Lauren McKee and Skylar Holmes; brothers, Pat McKee, Doug McKee (Alisha), and Greg McKee (Lisa); nephews, Ryan McKee, Dylan McKee, and Aaron Ellett; niece, Emily McKee; and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel with Dr. Michael Cassidy and Evangelist Brent Worley officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
