Beloved husband and Father Michael Lynn Wood of Etta Mississippi left this life to be with his Savior April 27th 2024.
Mike was preceded in death by his grandson Michael Allen Correll.
He is survived by his wife who was the love of his life for 29 years. Two daughters Kaylynn Correll (Ryan) of Bellevue NE, and Haven Lynn Wood of the home. Two Sons Michael Lynn Wood II “Mikey”(Haley) of Etta MS. and Dakota Lynn Wood of Etta, MS. One Brother David Wood (Carla) of Bentonville, AR, One Sister Tiffany Hemphill (Buck) of Lavaca, AR. And his parents Verlon and Dora Wood of Bella Vista AR.
Mike was one of the most loving, sweetest, and funniest people you would ever meet. He loved to always be with his family . He loved to camp, vacation, hunt and fish, as well as admire the land that he worked so hard to get.
Mike spent his working years working for WalMart where he served the last 32 years as a quality control manager at the New Albany DC.
Pallbearers will be Mikey Wood, Dakota Wood, David Wood, Buck Hemphill, Randy Baird, Verlon Wood.
Visitation will be April 30 from 12 until 2 with funeral services beginning at 2 at the West Tallahatchie Baptist Church 1916 MS-30 Myrtle MS. With Brother Keith Benefield officiating. Burial will be in the Wood Family Cemetery.
