Michael Lawrence McClellan passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Hospice Family Care Inc. He was born Saturday, September 3, 1966 to James McClellan and Amanda McClellan.
Michael Lawrence McClellan was a kind, funny, and loving man whose family meant the world to him. He passed away on Sunday, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a love that will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Michael was a devoted father who loved his children deeply. Some of the most treasured memories they share are the times spent camping and hiking together. Those simple adventures, filled with laughter and time outdoors, are memories they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
Michael enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping, and football, which he was especially talented at in his younger years. He also had a love for music and enjoyed playing his guitar. These were some of the things that brought him happiness throughout his life.
Michael will be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, his love of music, and most of all, the love he had for his children and family. Though he is no longer here to make new memories, the memories he gave his loved ones will be treasured always.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Michael Preston McClellan.
Survivors include his daughters, Brooke Nicole (Jean Christian) Picard-Ami and Whittney Lauren (Kurt Joseph) Scheufens; grandchildren, Isaiah King Picard -Ami, Elias Blu Picard-Ami, Scarlett Rose Picard-Ami, Ava Estella Scheufens, Millie Rose Scheufens, Ariel Leigh McClellan, Prince Aquarius McClellan; sisters, Patricia Ann (Kenneth Lynn) Arrington, Teresa Dianne Parvin, and Shelia Annette Rumrill; brothers, Ronney Mitchell McClellan and Pamlin Delshaw McClellan; a host of cousins, other family and friends.
Michael was deeply loved and will be missed more than words can express. His memory will live on through his children, his family, and everyone fortunate enough to have known and loved him.
