Mr. Michael Jerome Cartee, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at his residence. He was born October 22, 1949, in Lauderdale County, to William Carl Cartee and Lois Lancaster Cartee.
Mr. Cartee was a United States Vietnam War Veteran, where he served for a year as a “Gunner” on a helicopter. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who loved to play poker and was very good at it. He enjoyed Alabama football and his family time.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother- Ted Cartee.

Sons – Kane Cartee (Sarah) and
Brent Sapp (Amanda),
Daughters- Crystal Cartee and
Jeana Goodwin (Ron),
Son-in-law – Israel Martinez,
Brothers- Steve Cartee and
Jonny Cartee,
Sister – Denise Cartee Cooper (Harper),
Six Grandchildren and
Four Great Grandchildren
