Obituary of Michael Rinehart  Funeral Services celebrating the life of Michael Edwin Rinehart will be on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11am at Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 5pm until 8pm and Friday from 10am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Kemps Chapel Cemetery. There will be no graveside services.

Michael passed away on January 20, 2026 at his residence. He was born April 28, 1952 to the late Roy Clifford “R.C.” and Mary Evelyn Rinehart. He was a graduate of Biggersville High School and proudly served in the United States Army National Guard. He worked at Tyrone for many years before working at Intex, then for SCA until his retirement. Michael was a longtime member and deacon of Kemps Chapel Baptist Church.

Michael enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he spent time with daily.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Michael Rinehart and grandson, Lincoln Knox Dodds.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Lacy Dodds (Seth); son, Kenny Rinehart (Breeanna); daughter-in-law, Kelly Rinehart; brother, James Marlin Rinehart (Peggy); grandchildren, Olivia and Etta Dodds; and a host of other family and friends.
