Michael David Garner, 46, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016. He attended Lauderdale County High School. He was an avid Alabama football fan, a lifelong Atlanta Falcons fan, and enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.
Michael recently received a great sense of peace when he experienced a spiritual awakening. He attended Victory Full Gospel Church.
Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, from 6-8 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Terry Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Rice Cemetery.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Brandon Garner, and his sister, Scarlett Garner.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Garner; mother, Frances Garner; brother, Ken Garner and his fiancee, Donica; niece, Amber Garner; nephew, Andrew Garner; great-niece, Willow Wren Minor; stepdaughter, Kennerly Brubaker; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
