Michael C. Parrott died peacefully on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at his Jackson residence at the age of 76 with his loving wife at his side.
A native of Somerville, TN, he was born on July 18, 1946, the son of the late Horace Carl and Mickie Burnette Parrott. Michael was retired from Tennessee Farm Bureau as an Arson and Fraud Investigator with forty years of service. He was Methodist in his belief.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was very patriotic. He was an avid golfer and in his younger years enjoyed hunting and water sports with Sheila and Brandon.
Michael is survived by his wife, Sheila Baker Parrott of Jackson, TN; his son, Brandon Parrott and his wife Leanne Artigas of Gainesville, FL; three grandchildren, Nathaniel, Samuel and Audrey and a sister, Carla Dawson and husband Jack of Somerville, TN.
Also with his parents, his was preceded in death by a sister, Jerri Jenkins.
SERVICES: A funeral service for Michael will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2023, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors, with Rev. Ron Hale officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Williston, TN near Somerville, TN.
The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m.
