Michael “Boom Boom” Wayne Cannon, 66, of Iuka, MS passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Boom Boom was a life long Radio DJ and claimed “he never worked a day in his life because he loved his job”. He also worked at the local Bingo Hall as a supervisor and loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Beardsley Cannon; his sons, Nick Cannon (Kelly Caldwell) and Brandon Anderson; his daughters, Candice Beatrice Arnold (Max) and Jeannie Anderson; his brother, Rick Cannon; his sister, Pam Hearn; and 12 grandchildren, Michael, Chelsea, Leah, Patience, Moose, Zoe, Ziva, Zanye, Naomi E., Talise, Riley, and Naomi. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Ace and Sue Cannon, and Raynell Cannon. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. A memorial service will be held on a later date.
