Michael Baxter Ervin, age 71, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Friday, February 28th, 2025, at his residence.
He was born in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Jesse Baxter and Mary Thomas Ervin. He was a longtime employee of CO-OP filling many roles until retirement. He was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and enjoyed playing golf, watching his grandchildren’s sporting events and was a pocketknife enthusiast.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Marilyn McDaniel Ervin, in December of 2023.
He is survived by one daughter, Michelle (Jason) Grooms; two sons, Matt (Gina) Ervin, all of Lewisburg, and John Jesse Ervin of Nashville; one sister, Cheryl (Michael) Powell of Murfreesboro and five grandchildren, Caleb, Leah, Kezia, Jaxon, and James Thomas.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee, on Sunday, March 9th, 2025, from 12:00 pm until the funeral hour at 2:00 pm.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 9th, 2025, at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral with burial to follow in Collins Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg.
