Mr. Michael Anthony Murphy, age 55, passed away Monday, April 07, 2025 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was born on February 07, 1970 in Smithville, Tennessee and worked in construction as a roofer. Mr. Murphy was preceded in death by his parents Phillip Houston Murphy and Gracie May Merriman Turner, brothers Phillip Murphy, Jerry Murphy, and Teddy Murphy, and his daughter Stephanie Michelle Murphy.
Survivors include his daughter Jessica Renee Murphy (Jason Mason), son Michael Wayne Murphy (Jennifer), mother of his children Patricia Ann Murphy, brothers Terry Murphy, Gary (Brenda) Murphy, and Danny (Sheila) Murphy, sister Lisa Judkins, and grandchildren Kiera Grace Lewis, Raiden Atticus Johnson Lewis, Ozzie Reed, and Allen Reed.
Mr. Murphy was cremated and no public services are being announced.
