Michael Anthony Boccia, 35, of York, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 1, 2026.
Born on September 21, 1989, in York, Pennsylvania, Michael “Mike” Boccia was the beloved son of Bobbi L. Alwine and Anthony Boccia. Mike was a 2008 graduate of Crispus Attucks YouthBuild Charter School and was employed as a forklift operator at Harley-Davidson in York.
Mike was a devoted father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. He was known for his love of family, his generous heart, and his willingness to help others whenever needed. He enjoyed spending time with those he loved and created lasting memories with family and friends throughout his life. His sense of humor, loyalty, and caring nature will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Mike is survived by his loving daughter, Keylianis M. Boccia Rivera of York; his mother, Bobbi L. Alwine of York; his father, Anthony Boccia and wife Arlene of York; his godparents, Jody Jones of York and Wayne Jones of Florida; and his grandmother, Heather Crane of the United Kingdom.
He is also survived by his siblings, Mykeria A. Alwine of York, James E. Carter, Jr. (Julie) of York, and his god sister Jasmin N. Crosby of York; his uncle, Matt McCoy of the United Kingdom; his aunts, Tonia Alwine and Melanie McCoy of the United Kingdom, Valerie Alwine of York, and Marissa Strong and husband Scott of York. Mike also leaves behind five nieces, eight nephews, numerous cousins, extended family members, and many dear friends who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Thomas F. Alwine of York; his paternal grandmother, Zaida Rivera of York; and his grandfather, Robert Crane of the United Kingdom.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
Though his time with us was far too short, Mike’s love, laughter, and spirit will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
