Michael Allen Powell, 55 of Taft, Tennessee died on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at his home.
Born Sunday, July 6, 1958, in Maine, he was the son of the late Dalton Powell and the late Juanita Smith Powell. He was a member of New Fellowship Baptist Church in Elkmont, Alabama. He loved fishing and yard work. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers: Ray Powell , Randy Powell and Patty Powell.
Surviving are his wife: Nancy Ann Powell of Taft, TN, son, Michael Chad Powell of Fayetteville, TN, daughter, Samantha Reed of Ardmore, AL, brother, Scotty Powell of Ardmore, TN, sister, Judy Pack of Athens, AL, and grandchildren: Jazmine, Kayla, Taylor, Emily, Casidy, Austin, and Christopher.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Gatlin Cemetery with Bro. Wayne Kent officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
