Some of you who are reading this may have suffered from an injury. The law places time limits on how long a person can wait to file a lawsuit. In Alabama there is a two-year statute of limitation for some types of injuries. This means that you only have two years from the time of the injury to file the law suit.

People are often injured by manufactures of medicinal devices. Currently many lawsuits are being filed because of a device know as transvaginal mesh.
Transvaginal mesh, also known as vaginal mesh or bladder slings, are surgical mesh products that are used to treat common pelvic floor disorders in women as a result of age, childbirth or weight gain, such as pelvic organ prolapse or stress urinary incontinence. In July 2011, the FDA issued a public warning that complications with transvaginal mesh were common. Complications with transvaginal mesh include mesh erosions, mesh extrusions, chronic pain, chronic infection, perforation of pelvic organs such as the bladder or rectum, painful intercourse, injuries to the nerves, scarring, loss and disfigurement of the vulva and vagina. In some cases, women have died from mesh complications.
