Merle Wakefield Byram, 92, passed away Sept. 25, 2013. Visitation will be Saturday, September 28, 2013, from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. with service to follow at 2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.V. Byram.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Kenchel (Tom) and Ann Page (Ronny); five grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and two great- great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the American Heart Association at 501 N. Montgomery Avenue, Room 305, Sheffield, AL 35660.
Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
