Age 83 of Cottontown passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the Residence of Alive Hospice. He was born April 12, 1937 in Nashville, TN to Johnny and Dorothy Fryer Plush. Mr. Plush proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a route salesman for Dolly Madison Cakes for 38 years. He was an avid Nashville Predators and Tennessee Titans fan and also enjoyed women’s sports. He loved playing the Powerball and scratch offs. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister in-law, Marie Plush. He is survived by his son, Mark (Linda) Plush, Greenbrier, TN; daughter, Shelley (Brad) Wilkinson, White House, TN; brother, Eddie Plush, White House, TN; sister, Nina Carney, Whites Creek, TN; 4 grandchildren, Devon, Dylan, Bailey & Cole; 3 great-grandchildren, Paris, Palmer & Shepherd. Funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 2pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Bro. Jon Briggs officiating. Interment will follow in White House Memorial Gardens with military honors and with Brad Wilkinson, Devon Plush, Dylan Plush, Cole Wilkinson, Cody Friday & Jamie Boulanger serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbeares will be Robin Carney and Johnny Plush.
