Memorial service for Meredith Lynn Johnson (Mert, or M.L.), 76, will be Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Center Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Stacy Turney officiating. A time visiting with the family will be following the service.
Mr. Johnson died on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at his residence. He was born May 8, 1940, in Morgan County to Randolph Johnson and Sarah Mabel Edgemon Johnson. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and loved to hunt and fish. Mr. Johnson was a supervisor for Amoco Chemicals (BP) Corporation prior to retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the Gentiva Home Health and Hospice of the Valley for the loving care during Mr. Johnson’s illness.
