Melvin Gene Pruett, age 64, of Russellville, AL, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 Helen Keller Hospital.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate his life. Service will be announced at date.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Linda Badgett Pruett; parents, Elvis and Louise Pruett.
He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Dustin Pruett (Maria); daughter, Dana Pruett Green (Ronnie); grandchildren, Gianna Douglas, Will Douglas, Drake Pruett, Coley Green, Trenton Green; brother, Donnie Pruett ( Laura), sisters Shirley Morgan and Connie Green. And host of nieces and nephews.
Melvin was a graduate of Belgreen in 1976. He Loved Alabama football.
The family would like to thank Dr. Brad McAnalley, Dr. Brian Richards and Helen Keller Hospital all nurses and staff.
