Melvin Eugene Earls Jr., age 66, of Springfield, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 at his home. Graveside services will be conducted at 3pm Wednesday, December 27th in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Bro. David Evans officiating.
Mr. Earls was born February 3, 1957 in Nashville, to the late Melvin Eugene and Alice Ruth Miller Earls Sr. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and he loved English Bulldogs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, the people who raised him, Hugh and Ollie Mae Sawyers.
Mr. Earls is survived by his wife, Teresa “Queenie” Earls; sons, Trey Hamley, Michael Earls, and Ethan Earls; daughter, Alice Earls; 2 grandchildren, Amelia Earls and Rosalie Earls; and a very close aunt, Barbara (Elvis) Green.
