Melonie Glover Choudhary, 67, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on August 12, 2026. Born February 1, 1959, in Cullman, Alabama, she lived her life rooted in the community that shaped her, and she will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection.
From her earliest years, Melonie attended West Elementary and Cullman City Schools, continuing as a lifelong resident of Cullman. Throughout her life, she carried herself with a steady strength and a gentle spirit—qualities that were felt most clearly by those who knew her best and loved her most.
Melonie’s greatest devotion was to her family. She is survived by her children, Zandria (Jeffrey) Robinson and Derrick(Christy) Blackmon, and by her grandchildren, Evan Robinson, Isaiah Robinson, and Aarlyn Blackmon. Her grandchildren were the highlight of her life, and she cherished the time she spent with them, offering love that was constant, patient, and unwavering.
She also found joy in the simple pleasures of everyday life—especially shopping and being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Melonie’s heart extended beyond her family as well, and she held close the friendships that brought comfort and companionship through the years. She is lovingly remembered by her special friends, Madeline Smith, Brandy Brown, and Rhonda Johnson.
A devoted companion in her home and heart, her dog Yana was dearly loved, and the bond they shared was a quiet reflection of Melonie’s kind-hearted nature.
