Mellie Maxine Ellison Everhart, 95 of Sheffield, died Thursday, October 29, 2020. Visitation will be Monday, November 2, 2020 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. with the funeral immediately following at the Cowboy Church of Colbert County. Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery. Truman Sutton will officiate the service.
Mellie attended the Cowboy Church of Colbert County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Everhart; parents, William and Annie Ellison; children, Johnny Everhart, Contina Everhart, and Gloria Bowen; grandchildren, Ronnie Bowen II, and Misty Guge; great-grandchild, Amanda Kidd; and sisters, Zettie Wood, Hazel Ford, Dessie Dickerson, and Marilyn Freeman.
Mellie is survived by her daughter, Loria Lee (Bobby); grandchildren, Annie Brainard, Penny Lee (Michael), Robert Guge (Cynthia), Brian Bowen (Charlene), and Christy Narmore (Willie); great-grandchildren, Ashley Hobbs, Andrew Kidd, Adam Gamble, Maggie Burdette, Matthew Lee, Sarah Guge, Rachel Guge, Courtney Bowen, Christopher Bowen, and Will Narmore; and a host of great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Brian Bowen, Robert Guge, Will Narmore, Matthew Lee, Michael Lee, and Danny Lee.
Honorary pallbearers are Willie Narmore and Bobby Lee.
