Melissa “Missy” Ann Lusk Cagle of Ryland passed away Friday, October 29, 2022 at home with her family. She was 56 years old.
She enjoyed spending time with her loving husband, Earl, children, and precious granddaughters.
Missy was a dedicated employee at Huntsville Utilities for 18 years as a CAD Operator where she made many lifelong friendships. She loved being outdoors, enjoyed fishing, farming, and raising animals. Throughout her life, she spent countless hours at her farm on horseback, wrangling smaller farm animals, and tending to many pets. She also loved Alabama football and could be seen in Alabama apparel, jeans, and boots almost daily.
Missy was preceded in death by her parents Miriam and William “Buddy” Lusk, Clinton Hall, and her brother Mark Lusk. She is survived by her husband, Earl Cagle; daughters, Brittni Stone (Alex) and Shelby Maples (Dakota) and sons, Cole Koger (Megan) and Jonathon Cagle (Danny.) One of Missy’s greatest joys was being a Mamaw to Caroline, Charlie, and Campbell Stone.
Visitation will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 1st from 12:00-2:00 PM with service to follow at 2:00. Interment will be at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
