Melissa Louis Hardin, 47, passed away unexpectedly at her home in South Haven, MS, on Monday, August 11, 2025.
Funeral services honoring Melissa’s life will be held at 2 PM on Friday, August 15, 2025, in the Memorial Chapel of New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care, with a visitation from 10 AM until time of service in the Memorial Chapel of New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care.
Melissa was born on August 12, 1977 to Tommy Hardin and the late Maudie Green.
She is survived by her father, Tommy Hardin of Myrtle, two sisters, Tammy Hardin of Alligator, MS, and Mary Thompson of Memphis, TN, two brothers, Travis Hardin of Myrtle, and Tommy Hardin, Jr. of New Albany, one niece, Brittany Byram, four nephews, Derrick Bowles, Dylan Boles, Brian Victory, and Cameron Dill, one great niece, Elizabeth Byram, and her loving boyfriend, Garrett Watson.
Melissa was preceded in death by her mother, Maudie Green, and one brother, Jerry Wayne Hardin.
