Melissa Jane Smith, age 61 of Alexandria, AL, passed away Dec. 25, 2018.
She is survived by her husband Roger Dale Smith; mother Ruby E. Steadmon; brother Bobby Steadmon; sisters June Sims and Donna Guerra; seven nieces and nephews; five great nieces; and step-daughter Chandace Smith.
She was preceded in death by her father Bern A. Steadmon.
Mrs. Smith was a native of Decatur AL, and a resident of ALexandria, AL, since 2006.
Visitation is Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, at Shelton Baptist Cemetery, Moselle, MS.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to one’s favorite charity.
