Funeral for Melissa Ann Posey Fleming, 48, of Moulton will be Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Scotty Logan officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Posey, who died Saturday, March 14, 2015, at her residence, was born December 27, 1966, in Lawrence County. She was retired from B.P. She was a member of Westmeade Baptist Church in Decatur. She enjoyed camping, gardening, shopping, traveling, and most of all, family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Posey; and grandmother, Mattie Epperson.
Survivors include her husband, Joey Fleming; two sons, Zach Fleming and wife, Kelsey, and Tyler Hogan; one brother, Gary Posey; one sister, Jeanette Heflin and husband, Johnny; father-in-law, Dallie Fleming; mother-in-law, Betty Fleming; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Greg Terry, Brandon King, Kel Hargett, Nick Garner, Kevin Garner and Lucas Fleming.
Honorary pallbearer will be John Fleming.
