Melissa Ann Bolton, 46, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, at ECM Hospital. She was born in Red Bay to Phillip and Peggy Slayton Boyd. She worked for Tiffin Motor Homes in the Planning and Bill of Material department. She was a member of Golden Central Baptist Church.
Services will be Tuesday, Dec. 22, 3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Alabama, with Haskell Sparks and Brother Mike Neighbors officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Site Cemetery, Red Bay, Alabama. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama, will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Kevin Bolton, of Red Bay; her daughter, Kaitlin Bolton, of Red Bay; her mother, Peggy Johnson (John), of Belmont; stepbrother, Dwayne Johnson (Amy), of Belmont; stepsister, Deanna Comer (Jerry), of Statonville, Tennessee; father and mother-in-law, Aulsie and Sherry Bolton; two sisters-in-law, Margaret George (Michael) and Bethani Green (Steve); special friends, Myra, Anthony and Kacie Timbs; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Boyd.
Pallbearers will be Tim Boyd, Anthony Timbs, Michael George, Dwayne Palmer, Nolan Bailey and Ryan Bird. Honorary pallbearers will be Dwayne Johnson, Mike Neighbors and Garrett Kelly.
Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 21, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay
