Meliassa Bartel, age 48, of Summertown, Tennessee passed away Friday, April 12, 2019 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Melissa was born July, 17, 1970 to Colin and Virginia Harris Mulldune. Melissa loved and was loved by so many. She was family to many who didn’t have family of their own. She was a beautiful soul who left us too early.
She is survived by her mother: Virginia Mulldune of Hohenwald, Tennessee; her loving husband: Duane Bartel; children: Vanessa (Chris) Allen of Columbia and Gabriel Fields of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; brothers: Rick (Amber) Mulldune of Indiana and Roderick Labby of Michigan; and many she considered as her adopted children; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father: Colin Mulldune.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
