Mrs. Melba Anne Smith, age 78, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at her residence.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will take place Thursday April 11, 2024, 4:00pm – 6:00pm at First Baptist Church in Guntersville.
Melba was born October 12, 1945, to the late GW Jr. And Dorothy Wood. She was also preceded in death by her only sister, Peggy Faye Wood Chancey.
Melba married the love of her life in 1966 to Lloyd Smith. They were married at the Warrenton Baptist Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was the Head Teller of Home Bank.
She is survived by her loving husband, Lloyd Smith and son, Brandon Lloyd Smith.
