Graveside service for Melanie Long Ennis, 42, of Decatur, will be today, Dec. 9, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. at Aldridge Grove Cemetery with Rev. Richie Thompson officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ennis, who died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, in Trinity, was born Aug. 18, 1973, to Doug and Anita Long. She was a member of the American Heart Association and was a cardiac nurse at Huntsville Hospital. She enjoyed time with her family and friends. Her father preceded her in death.
Survivors include her mother, Anita Long of Decatur; her husband, Cameron Ennis; son, Cameron Ennis Jr.; and daughter, Hannah Long.
Pallbearers will be Sam Woody, Steven Childers, Heath Ennis, Byron Parrish, John Hobdell and Brandon Speegle.
