Melanie Gay Ridge, age 63 of Cotontown passed away Friday, March 15, 2024 at Hendersonville Medical Center. She was born November 6, 1960 in Nashville, TN to Russell Edward & Nellie Weatherly Wheeler. She worked as a merchandiser for Acosta Merchandising until becoming disabled. She enjoyed lounging by the pool, traveling to the mountains and to Panama City and having family get togethers. She is preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 45 years, James Ridge; sons, Rusty Ridge and Adam Ridge; mother, Nellie Wheeler; sisters, Sandra (Randy) Ventress, Karen (Cliff) Graves and Jenny (JR) Randolph, all of White House, Tennessee.
