Marijuana plants taken from inside grow on LaGrange Road
COLBERT COUNTY-DTF Agents along with the Colbert County Sheriff’s Department confiscated 161 marijuana plants from a hidden marijuana growing operation inside a building o LaGrange Road.
Deputies and Agents also recovered guns, eight different types of pills and four ounces of compressed marijuana.
According to investigators the marijuana was medical grade marijuana with a street value of $70.00 per seed.
To date there have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
The case will be sent to the district attorney’s office to be presented before a grand jury.
