Funeral service for Mayra Fernanda Lopez, age 14, of Decatur, who died Sunday, April 20, 2014, at Huntsville Hospital Women’s and Children’s Center, will be Wednesday, April 23, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Decatur City Cemetery.
Mayra was born February 2, 2000, in Decatur, to Jose Ixchajchal and Ignacia Lopez. She is survived by her parents; two brothers, Christian Lopez and Jose Lopez, both of Decatur; and two sisters, Bianca Lopez and Sherlyn Lopez, both of Decatur.
