Mavis Virginia Pressnell, age 88, of Athens died November 19, 2025 at her residence. She was born August 1,1937 in Limestone County.
Mrs. Pressnell was a member of the Sardis Springs Baptist Church in Athens and a retired manager of the Athens Senior Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise Steele of Athens, stepdaughter, Lori Mooneyham of Athens, grandsons, Adam (Kate) Steele of Memphis, TN, Jordan (Leah) Steele of Athens, stepdaughter, Elizabeth Mooneyham of Tennessee as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Hill and Clara Harris Hill, husband, Leonard Eugene Grisham, husband, Ernest Pressnell, brothers, James Hill and Donnie Hill.
