Mavis Lee Watts Mavis Lee Watts, age 71, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 3:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Celebration Worship Center Cemetery.  Bro. James Godsey and Shannon Lugo to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 2:00pm until 3:00pm.

Mavis was born on January 8, 1954 in Tabor City, NC to the late Dozier and Zettie Watts.  She worked in the federal and state prison systems for 30 years.  Mavis loved getting to travel to different places.  She also enjoyed cooking, listening to music, watching westerns and playing Bingo. Her family was her life, and spending time with her children and grandchildren was what she cherished the most.  Her bright spirit and kind heart will always be loved and greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
