Funeral service for Mavine Lydia Springer age 80 of Hartselle will be Monday, January 31, 2022 at 3:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ben Bates officiating with burial in the Mt. Tabor cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Springer, who was born November 20, 1941 in Limestone County to Hubert Lang and Lydia Henderson Lang, died on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at her home. She was a homemaker, a member of New Center Baptist Church and enjoyed thrifting, sewing and eating with friends.
She is survived by her husband, Willard Springer; a daughter, Sonya Groves (Daniel) of Springfield, TN.; 2 brothers, Glenn Lang of Ardmore, AL and Ernest Lang of Huntsville; a sister, Phyllis Ann Helms of Atlanta; 2 grandchildren, Bella Campbell (Zach) of Franklin, TN. and Will Frazier (Hannah) of Springfield, TN; and 2 great-grandchildren, Greyson Frazier and Amelia Campbell.
Daniel Groves, Will Frazier, Zach Campbell, Randy Lang and Ernie Moses will serve as pallbearers
