Mrs. Maverene Lang Horton age 96 of Horton, passed away at Barfield Nursing Home, Sunday, September 06, 2020. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 08, 2020, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home at 12:00 pm, the family will receive friends from 11:00 am till time of the service, burial will follow at liberty hill baptist Church Cemetery in the Hyatt Community. she is survived by her daughter; Dr. Marsha Dale Campbell (Rev. Galeon), son-in-law; David Whitt (Janice), grandchildren; Mel Campbell (Heidi), Jon Campbell (Deanna), Matt Whitt (Kara), Abbie Griffin (Micahel), 11 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Frank & Lela Lang, husband; Melvin Horton, daughter; Judith Whitt, 1 sister, and 3 brothers. The family will accept flowers or donations can be made to Liberty Hill Baptist Church of Nixon Chapel Rd, Horton Al, cemetery fund.
