Funeral for Mavene Allen, 87, of Trinity will be Monday, November 6, 2017, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 2:00 PM with Charles Dickens and Jacob Willingham officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens . Visitation will be two hours before the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Allen, who died Friday, November 3, 2017, at her residence, was born, August 1, 1930, to Willie Kirby and Velma Dunn Kirby. She was a member of Dancy’s Chapel Church of Christ .
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband – Alvin (Red) Allen
6 brothers – Conul Kirby, Jerry Kirby, Prentis Kirby, Sherman Kirby, Harold Kirby and Bobby Kirby
3 sisters- Geneva King, Cora Lee Bailey and Imogene Fagan

Son – Stanley (Melinda) Allen
3 Daughters – Mary (Felix) Williams, Donna (Roger) McGregor and Debbie Allen
Brother – Glenn Kirby
5 Grand Children – Rodney McGregor, Jonathan Clark, Willie Allen, Daniel (Cara) Williams and Lee Allen
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Clark, Willie Allen, Daniel Williams, Lee Allen, Glenn Kirby and Harry Maupin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rebekah Rea and Cara William
