Mr. Maurice Lloyd Driver age 89 of Morrison, TN, died Monday, October 18, 2021, at N.H.C. Health Care in McMinnville, TN. He was born October 09, 1932, in Smithville, TN, was a former school teacher, retired farmer, and a member of Hebron Church of Christ. Mr. Driver served his country with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was preceded in death by parents Henry P. and Effie Love Driver, wife Dena Bell Driver, sister Sylvia Brigman, and brothers Houston, Roy, Garlin, H. D. and Winston Driver.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law Celeste and Kevin Hill, significant other Jo Eva Davis, and special friends Tommy and Misti Davis, and special grandchildren Will, and Eli Davis. Other family members and friends also survive.
Funeral service is 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 22, 2021, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Wayne Cantrell will officiate. Interment will follow at Bascom Cemetery. Military grave rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 173 and the V.F.W. Post 5064. The Driver Family will receive friends Friday from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
