Maudie Mae Adams, age 100, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015. Visitation will be Friday, May 1, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, of Florence. The service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Brothers Chris Compton, Phil Cooper and Terry Tipper officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Florence.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Oather Adams; brothers, Walter Pardue, P.T.Pardue, Chess Pardue and Sherman Pardue; and sisters, Mamie McNutt and Eula Mae Martin.
Survivors are her children, Brenda Tipper, Rita McRae, Don Adams and Gerald Adams; brother, Dupree Pardue; sisters, Altie Calley, Pat Rosser and Maurine Hall; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
