Matty Lurine “Lucy” Michael, born on January 11, 1940, peacefully passed away, leaving a lasting legacy of love and cherished memories.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claudie and Katie Pearl Richardson, her sister, Betty (Glynn) Smith, and father of her children, Loyce T. Michael. Throughout her life, Lucy found joy in the family and the strong bonds she shared with them. She was a devoted mother to her surviving children, Jeff Michael and Vickie (Bill) Springer. Her love also extended to her grandchildren: Zach (Liz) Springer, Chad Springer, Wynn Springer, Cory (Alexis) Michael, and Cole Michael, along with her great-grandchildren, Tripp Springer, John Everett Springer, and Oliver Michael.
Lucy shared a special connection with her siblings: Esther Corum, Kathy Smith, and Billy (Patty) Richardson.
Her warmth, kindness, and love impacted many lives, and she will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. A private graveside service is planned to celebrate her life.
