Mattie Seahorn Lane, age 90, Russellville, Alabama passed away on Monday, June 03, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family after an extended illness.
The visitation will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday, June 04, 2013 at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL; her body will lie-in-state 1 hour prior to the 2 pm service on Wednesday June 05, 2013 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Griffin officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Darol Bendall, Brian Bendall, Eric Lane, Kevin Lane, Austin Montgomery, Evan Lane, Nathan Lane & Curt Burton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd E. Lane; parents, Sam & Annie Seahorn; siblings, Howard Seahorn, Percy Seahorn, Milton Seahorn, Bertha Wright, & Polly Mitchell.
She is survived by her children, Louise (Charles Ray) Bendall; Gerald (Peggy) Lane; grandchildren, Darol (Debbie) Bendall, Eric Lane, Christa (Austin) Montgomery, Kevin (Laurie) Lane; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; a host of nieces & nephews.
She had been a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church for over 65 years.
