Mattie Maude Bice, 104 of Harvest, AL, passed away on May 10, 2021 at her residence.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 10-11 A.M. at McConnell Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Thursday at 11 A.M., with Gerome Hilliard officiating.
Graveside Service will be Friday at 11 A.M. at Jones Baptist Church Cemetery, in Jones, AL.
Mrs. Bice was born April 24, 1917 in Jones, AL; to Claude King and Minnie Thomas King.
She is preceded in death by one sister Evelyn DeRamus, first husband of almost 60 years, Tolbert Bice; second husband Bill Swindle of 10 years.
Mrs. Bice was a member of Capshaw Baptist Church and Jones Baptist Church for about 80 years prior to Capshaw. She was postmaster for almost 50 years in Jones, AL.
She is survived by one nephew Henry DeRamus of Canton, GA; and one niece Claudia Simpkins of Harvest, AL.
