Funeral services for Mattie Leona (McKenzie) Mashburn, age 89 (died January 22, 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas), the daughter of Lonnie Curtis McKenzie and Beulah Mae (Gilbert) McKenzie, are scheduled for Friday, February 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM (visitation from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM) in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill, Tennessee with Brother Tommy Crocker officiating. Interment will follow in the Peace Chapel Cemetery near Scotts Hill.
Survivors include her son Curtis Stephen Mashburn, daughter-in-law Trude Sanders Mashburn, grandson Stephen Hunter Mashburn of Fort Worth and two brothers, Floyd Ray McKenzie and Rufus Lafeyette McKenzie.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Gradie Preston Mashburn (died January 22, 2015), and two brothers, Thomas Ewin McKenzie and Curtis Junior McKenzie, and two sisters, Dolly Mae (McKenzie) Bice and Rebecca Gail (McKenzie) Ethington.
