Mattie Floy Looney, 87 of Athens, Alabama, died Friday, November 20, 2020 at her residence.
There will be a 2pm Graveside Service Tuesday at Limestone Memorial Gardens with Bud White officiating.
No visitation planned.
Mrs. Looney was born April 1, 1933 in Limestone County, she was a member of Northside Church of Christ and she was a homemaker.
Survivors: Daughters: Janie Bassham of Elkmont, Peggy Fitchie of Pulaski, TN, Carol Furline of Athens, Dail Newton of Madison, AL and Wanda Pepper of Athens; Son: Dwight Looney of Elkmont; Twelve Grandchildren; Twenty-one Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by: Husband: J. O. Looney; Parents: Roy Lee and Eva Jane Holt; Brothers: George Holt, Lealon Holt, Thomas Holt; Sister: Tula Mae Dean; One Great Granddaughter; Two Great Grandsons.
