Mattie Charline Emerson Kiddy was born in Madison County, Tennessee on September 21, 1937 the daughter of the late Robert Holland and Alma Violet White Emerson.
Mrs. Kiddy was united in marriage to Ernest Ray Kiddy, who preceded his wife in death on July 14, 2006.
She was a homemaker and she enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing , flower gardening and vegetable gardening. Mrs. Kiddy lived in Hardin County several years and Wayne County since 2015. She was of the Baptist belief.
Mrs. Kiddy departed this life on February 28, 2017 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 79 years, 5 months and 7 days.
She is survived by her two children, Ricky Joe Walford and his wife Tara of Hornbeak, Tennessee and Jeanette Burkhead and her husband Ronnie of Waynesboro, Tennessee.

two brothers, Johnny Emerson and David Emerson, both of Brownsville, Tennessee
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sons, Billy Ray Kiddy and Archie Lee Kiddy, one daughter, Jackie Lee Thacker, two brothers, Larry Emerson and Ferrell Emerson, three sisters, Marie Overton, Barbara Sipes and Rhonda Mae Moshier and four great grandchildren, Cholie Abbigale Wilson, Donna Kay Wilson, Christopher Ray Wilson and Nathaniel William Walford.
